Meet the Centre Director
Hi I’m Hayley,
I am the Director here at Kin Kin Early Learning. I have been working with young Children for nearly 20 years. I began my career as a private nanny for a young lady who is currently studying law at Flinders University. I have worked in numerous roles in the Early Childhood Education and Care field I have worked in Out of School Hours Care before starting in Long Day Care. I have worked as an Assistant, Lead Educator, Assistant Director and Director.
I graduated from TAFE in 2005 with a Diploma of Children’s Services (Community Services). I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) through the University of New England.
My Passion in Early Childhood Education and Care lies in Nature Education. This year we have introduced a new Bush Kindergarten programme to Kin Kin, we also will be working in conjunction with the local community garden to propagate seeds to create our bush tucker garden and we will creating a kitchen garden programme.
On a personal level I have been married for 7 years to Chris who you may see around the centre. I have always loved the Adelaide Hills and Murray Lands and our goal is to buy a hobby farm somewhere close to where I work where our menagerie of pets can roam free.
I enjoy bush walking, camping, fishing, Jujitsu, and Storm Chasing. I am a member of the Bureau of Meteorology Severe Weather Spotters, and am a board member, coach and official of a little athletics club close to my home.
I am a mum too! My son Thomas is 11 years old. My family is very important to me and I know how important and special your child/ren are. I will do everything I can to ensure that Kin Kin is a nurturing environment that encourages the children to become future leaders of our community no matter what pursuits they engage in we will build a centre that fosters and nurtures each child’s strengths and interests.
